Renovation Update
- Stabilize and rebuild retaining wall
- Remove crumbling, broken tile and grout
- Re-grade and level the site for safety and liability
- Enhance street appeal to more welcoming design
- Maintain and highlight beautiful New Orleans style of the House
- Blend garden area seamlessly with House facade
- Update courtyard area and outdoor space for member congregating
- Add dramatic lighting of the Alpha Phi sign and balconies
- Seasonal plantings to fill planters along shorter wall
The Entry Garden is the priority for renovation Summer 2021 and is scheduled to be completed prior
to Fall Recruitment.
Impressions are formed in about 7 seconds. Our Entry Garden improvements, funded through the Centennial Campaign will enhance Omega’s presence on the UT Campus by providing a welcoming and open visual invitation to our doors. Our beloved 2005 University’s new updated street appeal will support the success of the chapter as it forms leaders, volunteers and committed alumnae.
First impressions are formed in about 7 seconds. Omega must focus funds to enhance our presence on the UT Campus and on potential first impressions of our House and Chapter to aid in recruitment.
