To celebrate our 100th anniversary year, an historic fundraising campaign was launched to renovate our beloved Omega Chapter House.  From the Centennial Celebration in February hundreds of generous Omega alums have contributed funds desperately needed to ensure our House remains a welcoming home.  Essential stages of the renovation of the House are now complete with the Entry Garden at 2005 University Avenue as the last phase to be funded.  Your donation is needed today.

Today

First impressions are formed in about 7 seconds.  Omega must enhance potential first impressions and street appeal to aid in recruitment and solidify our enhanced presence on the UT Campus.

Entry Garden Renovation to be completed by December 2020, if $100,000 goal is reached.

  • Stabilize and rebuild retaining wall
  • Remove crumbling, broken tile and grout
  • Re-grade and level the site for safety and liability
  • Enhance street appeal to more welcoming design
  • Maintain and highlight beautiful New Orleans style of the House
  • Blend garden area seamlessly with House facade
  • Update courtyard area and outdoor space for member congregating
  • Add dramatic lighting of the Alpha Phi sign and balconies
  • Seasonal plantings to fill planters along shorter wall
  • Save and cultivate large Magnolia and Oak trees

These visual and safety improvements will help the Chapter be more competitive during Recruitment and throughout the year.  Other sororities have undertaken or are planning extensive multi-million dollar renovations on campus.  Housing today is much more competitive with many luxury off-campus options.

How to Support

CONTRIBUTE TO THE CENTENNIAL CAMPAIGN

As you consider your gift, we hope you take a moment to consider the overall impact of your time spent in AΦ. Many of us could never forget the lifelong friendships forged, the impact of your time as an Omega on your values and principles, and the many ways you carried those experiences into the “real world” and became the leaders that you are today.

Each of us has benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. Your gift to the Centennial Campaign will help provide those same valuable experiences for our future members.

To continue the legacy we were handed down from our founders, we hope you will support Omega’s Centennial Campaign and commit to our dream for The Next 100 Years.
